"SERVING CENTRAL TEXAS FOR OVER 35 YEARS"
It's no exaggeration to say that the 2017 Subaru Impreza ushers in a new era for the Subaru brand. It brings with it some major changes that will soon be adopted by its Subaru siblings. These additions and modifications make the 2017 Impreza is a safer, more athletic, and more comfortable vehicle. You can find out more about this popular compact car and its recent makeover below.
Don't worry -- the 2017 Impreza still comes powered by a SUBARU BOXER® engine. However, this time it benefits from direct injection technology for improved power and efficiency. Subaru Symmetrical All-Wheel Drive also remains standard for all-weather surefootedness that Killeen, Georgetown, Fort Hood, Austin and Waco area drivers really appreciate.
The most significant change for 2017 is the Impreza's structure. It's built on all-new Subaru Global Platform architecture. Its longer wheelbase make for more cabin space, and the new framework enhances agility while quieting road noise. Body-structure rigidity improves by 70 percent over the outgoing model, and crash energy absorption increases by 40 percent. A new Impreza 2.0i Sport model offer uniquely athletic performance thanks to a sport-tuned suspension and Active Torque Vectoring.
